The Henry Ford Announces 2024 Teacher Innovator Award Recipients presented by RTX

Awards Recognize Innovative Teachers Across the Globe

(Dearborn, Mich. – April 24, 2024) – The Henry Ford is thrilled to announce the grand prize winners of the 2024 Teacher Innovator Awards, presented by RTX. The Henry Ford Teacher Innovator Awards recognizes teachers who inspire students in their classrooms to use innovation and invention through education lessons and practices.

Grand Prize Winners:
inHub National Teacher of the Year Award: Michael Craig, Detroit, Michigan.
inHub International Teacher of the Year Award: Josefina Rangel Castorena, Mexico City, Mexico
Invention Convention Teacher of the Year Award: Doug Scott, Hopkinton, Massachusetts.

The Grand Prize winners receive an all-expenses paid trip to the 2024 RTX Invention Convention U.S. Nationals on June 5-7, where they will have the opportunity to take place in student judging and receive their awards at the event's ceremony on June 7. Winners also receive $3,000 for classroom supplies, and a 1-year membership to The Henry Ford.
