Learn By Doing
Exciting New Programming for Grades 2-5
The Henry Ford’s Summer Camps are back with reimagined project-based activities and lessons which focus on The Henry Ford’s own Model i Innovation Learning Framework, where students will learn about and develop skills based on the habits of an innovator: Stay Curious, Be Empathetic, Collaborate, Challenge the Rules, Take Risks, and Learn from Failure.
Safety is our top priority
We strive to care for the safety and wellbeing of all children and staff. For the summer of 2022, we will be following guidelines from the CDC and Wayne County Health. More details on our COVID-19 Safety Policies will be shared prior to the opening of registration.
All camps run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (extended care available for additional cost). Campers will be immersed in the museum and village atmosphere for a unique and engaging experience. Each camp features:
Unique behind-the-scenes experiences that are exclusive to summer camp.
Wednesday Spirit Day
Campers and staff let their personalities shine through fun themes and activities.
Hands-on, minds-on activities that foster an innovative mindset.
Campers encounter artifacts and stories throughout Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, Greenfield Village, and Ford Rouge Factory Tour.
Campers identify and create their own solutions to real world problems.
